Brief
To design and build a fresh and bright website featuring several static pages that describe the company’s goals. All pages should be editable at any time by designated site administrators. The site should also include a news blog that should support the upload and addition of images. The news bog should also feature an RSS feed. A contact form should be included.
Implementation
This was one of the first sites I published using the Drupal CMS framework, and served as a good introduction to working with Drupal’s CCK module (Drupal 5).
The FCK Editor module was used to enable administrators to customise all the content via a GUI interface. Views module was used to create the news page, with accompanying RSS feed.
Javascript random image generator code selects a different sidebar image for successive page loads to keep the homepage looking fresh for returning visitors. Some simple CSS tweaks to the Abac Drupal theme were required.
