Brief
This site is aimed at the community of students, teachers, lecturers, and practitioners in Yorkshire and the Humber who are taking part in the Adobe Certified Associate pilot project sponsored by Yorkshire Forward as part of the Digital 2010 plan to ensure the success of the Yorkshire region.
This site will contain useful links and resources to help students prepare for their upcoming ACA exams. Register and share their progress and meet others from across the region who are aiming to be amongst the first people in the UK to gain this new certification.
Implementation
The Drupal CMS framework was used for this project in order to allow the community of teachers and lecturers to control all of the content within the Webskills site.
Forums were added to facilitate communication amongst all members of the site, with a private forum made available to administrators and course tutors. All forums supported document uploads to enable teachers to share support materials with their students.
Every member of the site had a personal profile page with a personal blog attached. Personal contact forms were available to authenticated members of the site on every profile page to facilitate direct communication between all users.
