Using Wordpress to collaboratively edit a photo project.
I needed an on-line tool that would allow Lloyd Spencer and myself to edit a large body of several hundred photographs down to 20 or so for a proposed exhibition of our “Leeds By Night” project. We also needed a looser edit that would potentially be used for a book. Some text would also be required for the book, and the site should facilitate the assosiation of certain photos with specific bodies of text.
All photographs that form the project were already on flickr, so it made sense that the site should pull the photo content from there, rather than replicating content in 2 places.
The editing process never really got going, it’s still on the back burner.
